Student Aid & Scholarships
PAVE Student Aid Program
The PAVE Student Aid Program supports students studying retail design, planning, visual merchandising, industrial design, and other programs for careers in the retail environments industry who are experiencing financial difficulties. The intent is to provide for basic needs such as food, housing, books, tuition, health insurance, medical bills, utilities, transportation, etc.
College students interested in applying should review the guidelines below and submit a completed application, with supporting documents, to PAVE by the deadline. Please note that PAVE is not currently accepting applications, but we encourage you to check back at a later date.

Guidelines:
1. Student must be enrolled in a program working toward a degree in the retail environments industry, i.e. in visual merchandising, store design, or interior design.
2. Student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better.
3. Student must be a full-time student enrolled in at least 12 credit hours.
4. A maximum of $2,500 per student will be awarded.
Application Must Include:
The following three items must be submitted with your application form for your request to be considered.
1. A letter explaining the reason for the request: must show a compelling need for this special aid, with a detailed explanation of your situation and anticipated use of the funds (500 words max).
2. A Copy of your current transcript (Official or Unofficial).
3. Letter of recommendation from an educational advisor.
Both merit and need-based criteria will be used when making awards. Applicants’ GPA and level of need will be considered.
